MERA PEAK EXPEDITION - NEPAL
In the spring of 2008 I've been on expedition to Mera Peak (6.500 meter) with Himalayan Rock. It was really a great experience, which I never will forget! Himalayan Rock took care about everything! It was perfectly organized! If you want to have the same experience, please contact them! They will have the best solution for you!

LANGTANG TREK - NEPAL
Dear Himalayan Rock team,
We would like to thank you all for everything you did for us. We had a great time during our cycle trip through the Kathmandu valley and during the Langtang trek. We promised to send some pictures, so we'll send them in an e-mail separately. Hopefully it is possible to give the pictures to the family at Lama hotel, the porter and guide. Everything was organised very well. The mountains in the Langtang area are very beautiful. We enjoyed it very much. Probably we'll meet each other again, we wish to do the Mt Everest basecamp trek....

EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK - NEPAL
In May 2008 I went to the Everest-region with Himalayan Rock to do a 12-day trekking into the Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar. Before I traveled I got good information from Eric to make all the good preparations for my travel. Once arrived in Nepal, Ramani picked me up on the airport to bring me to my hotel. The following day at Himalayan Rock’s office my travel was discussed for the last preparations, with a nice Nepali milk-tea. I did my travel with Lakpa, a good guide that knows the area all to well, he is a well seen guest at many lodges. The Everest area is a beautiful area, far away from cars and motorbikes, at the middle of the biggest mountains in the world and with the hospitality of the Sherpa people. For me this was a journey to never forget, thanks to the fantastic job that Himalayan Rock did!

BHUTAN AND NEPAL TOUR
We are already back in Holland for some time but we are still enjoying our journey to Nepal and Bhutan. Thank you very much for the great experience! All hotels were very nice and we did a great hiking with our guide Hira.
The people from Himalayan Rock are also very flexible, when we wanted to change our program this was no problem at all. Becaused we missed a flight we could unfortunately not come back to Nepal again but we had to fly directly to Delhi.

ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT AND ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP - NEPAL
Namaste,
In spring 2008 we did the combined Annapurna Circuit trek and Annapurna Base Camp trek with Himalayan Rock. March is a perfect season for trekking, it is not too hot and in the Poon Hill region all rhododendron flowers were in full bloom. 26 days of walking was hard sometimes so we advise people who like to do the same trek to do some training in advance. But we would immediately do it again when we got the chance.
Next to the perfect organization of our trek and a great guide (Hari Gurung) we could always visit the Himalayan office to ask some questions or just to drink some Nepali tea. Besides this they helped us finding a good accommodation in Kathmandu.
