DHAULAGIRI REGION:
Dhaulagiri region lies in Western Nepal. Pokhara is the starting point of this trek. This region is separated from the Annapurna region by Kali Gandaki River. It also has many peaks of more than 6000 meters. Dhaulagiri is the highest mountain in western Nepal.
The breath taking natural scenery is common in these trek. During spring (March to April) the Rhododendrons, the national flowers of Nepal are in full bloom as elsewhere in Nepal.
FRENCH COL (ROUND DHAULAGIRI) TREK
This is a real alpine type of trekking round Dhaulagiri. Fantastic trek for those, who love the mountains in the high altitudes splendid view of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, other snow capped peaks, the hills of the south and the dry Tibetan plateau to the north. It's challenging but really fascinating.
