Annapurna Santuary -15 Days, 14 nights

Kathmandu - Pokhara - Machapuchare Base Camp - Annapurna Base Camp - Pokhara - Kathmandu

The Annapurna Sanctuary is a glacier-covered ampitheater that is ringed by peaks in the Annapurna range. This short trek provides daily mountain views including daily views of Machhapuchare (the fish-tail). Though Machhapuchare has remained a virgin peak, there is constant debate in Nepal over opening the peak for expeditions. After flying into Pokhara, drive to Naya-pul, the starting point of the 11-day adventure to the Annapurna Base Camp. Trek through Gurung villages along the southern slopes of Annapurna to the Annapurna Sanctuary (14,000 ft.). Here you will be surrounded by some of the world's tallest peaks. The trip begins and concludes with a full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu .

We feel that small groups provide a more intimate atmosphere allowing you to get to know your Sherpa guides better and to develop lifelong friendships. Therefore, the maximum group size is 10. With 6 to 10 people in the group, we provide one head guide (sirdar), two to Three support staff and 3-5 porters during the trek.
