Ranthambore National Park is a wildlife enthusiast and photographer's dream. It offers excellent accommodation and internal transportation facilities. The park remains open every year from October to May. Ranthambore is famous for its exciting and frequent tiger sightings. Tigers at Ranthambore National park have been known to even hunt in full view of human visitors. These tigers are famous for being seen in the daytime too, due to their lack of fear of human presence in vehicles. This lack of fear of humans is excellent for tourists, as they get to see the tigers often.

Day 1 Delhi, arrival Day 2 Delhi - Agra Day 3 Agra - Bharatpur Day 4 Bharatpur - Ranthambore National Park Day 5 Ranthambore National Park - Jaipur Day 6 Jaipur Day 7 Jaipur - Samode - Delhi Day 8 Delhi, departure |
Day 1 Delhi (arrival) Arrive at Delhi airport, on arrival, welcome with garlanding and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Morning after breakfast proceeds by surface to the city of Taj Agra, stopping enroute at a good restaurant for refreshment. Arrival and check in at the hotel. After check in, we leave to explore the monumental heritage of the Great Mughals, including the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. It's a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone - undoubtedly the highlight of our tour. After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Bharatpur (Keoladeo National Park). En-route we stop at Fatehpur Sikri - which has been describes as `the world`s most perfectly preserved ghost town`. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. Arrival Bharatpur and check in at hotel. Afternoon experience a balmy walks around the park and observe a varied species of birds that resides there. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort. Day 4 Bharatpur - Ranthambore (Approx. 230 Kms – 5 hrs) Ranthambore National Park is one of the most popular National Parks in India. It was conferred the status of a National Park in the year 1957 and came under the ambit of `Project – Tiger` in the year 1974. The Park is strategically located in the midst of the imposing Aravali and Vindhya mountain ranges covering an area of 400 sq. Kms. Of all the National Parks of India, Ranthambore is one of the most picturesque with the backdrop of an invincible fort located on a hilltop while the park is spread in the foothills. After arrival in Ranthambore, check in at hotel. Evening free. Dinner and over night at hotel. Day 5 Ranthambore – Jaipur (Approx. 200 Kms. – 5 hrs) Early morning breakfast and transfer to Jungle safari (around 3 hrs). Back to hotel and fresh. Afternoon check out from hotel and transfer to Jaipur. Jaipur - the fabled `pink city` of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments. In the afternoon continue to the `Pink City` of Jaipur, arrive and check-in to the hotel. Day 6 Jaipur Morning after breakfast at the hotel we visit the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber – ascend the imposing fort on a painted elephant. We wander among glittering inlays and the Hall of Mirrors. Day 7 Jaipur - Samode - Delhi (250 Kms – 5 hrs) Morning after breakfast at the hotel we drive back to Delhi enroute we stop at Samode – 50 Kms from Jaipur famous for the elegant Samode Palace, nestled picturesquely amidst rugged hills, Samode Palace with its stately grandeur and frescoed walls is a pleasant journey into the glorious past. The Palace is full of architectural delights-the birds, animals and flowers painted on the walls of Sultan Mahal, the dining room with stained glass windows and its collection of old family portraits, the Durbar Mahal with its painted ceilings and intricately carved walls and beautiful chandeliers give this place its old world charm. Explore the splendid Palace and have the lunch in the Palace. Later we continue by road back to Delhi, arrive and check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Day 8 Delhi (departure) Morning breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi, including Jama Masjid - this immense mosque is the largest in India, Red Fort – once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire, nearby we enjoy the rickshaw Ride in the local markets of Chandni Chowk and Kinari Bazar. Later transfer to the Indira Gandhi International airport to board your homeward flight or connect to your onward destination. |
